Our Capoeira association seeks to promote cultural values predicated on achieving personal freedom through respect for the others and our surroundings. Members strive toward these goals by spreading Capoeira's practice through schools, universities, and various organizations in all communities.

By emphasizing a value system rooted in a necessity to adapt in order to survive, Capoeira instills character in people from all walks of life while nurturing instinct, dignity and humility.

Our association maintains that Capoeira is a living embodiment of the past and the future at once. It is a cultural expression of people that fought for liberty in the face of dehumanizing oppression and we believe it should be practiced with the same reverence it was given by it originators. We also believe the art must continue to evolve. While working to preserve its organic values, our practice points toward the future - embracing evolution to give Capoeira the creative freedom it requires to realize its potential. There is a saying in Capoeira that, like a chameleon, we must change to preserve our essence.

We are a non-profit organization whose objective is to promote Capoeira and Brazilian culture as a means for social awareness and individual growth. By guarding our philosophy and remembering our roots, we can continue to flourish in the present.
